Jobloopa (ABN 85 966 828 654) helps trade businesses answer missed calls and messages. This policy explains what personal information we handle and how.
What we collect
We collect:
- From businesses that use or ask about Jobloopa: name, business name, phone, email, and what you tell us in forms, calls and emails.
- For our clients, about their customers: the phone number of anyone who calls or texts the client's Jobloopa number, the texts sent and received, voicemail recordings, call times, and job and contact details from the client's job and accounting software (such as names, phone numbers, addresses, quotes and invoices) when the client connects it.
- When you use our website or app: basic technical data (such as IP address and browser), used for security.
Why we use it
To provide the service: sending the client's approved texts, passing messages and voicemails to the client, reminding the client about follow-ups, and keeping a record of what was sent.
To support, bill and contact our clients. To keep the service secure and fix problems.
We don't sell personal information, and we don't market to our clients' customers.
Who we share it with
The business you called or texted (our client). The service providers that run Jobloopa: Twilio (calls, texts and recordings), Cloudflare (hosting and database), Netlify (website and forms), and the software the client connects.
Some of these providers store data overseas, including in the United States. We also share information when the law requires it.
Voicemail
If a business has voicemail switched on and nobody answers, the caller is told they can leave a message after the tone. Only the message the caller chooses to leave is recorded. Calls that are answered are not recorded.
How long we keep it
Voicemail recordings are deleted from our phone provider after 30 days.
Messages and call records are kept while the client uses Jobloopa, then deleted within 90 days after the account ends, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Texts and opting out
Reply STOP to any text from a Jobloopa number to stop further texts from that business.
Security
We use access controls, encryption in transit and limited access. No system is perfectly secure.
If there's a serious data breach, we'll tell the people affected and the regulator where the law requires it.
Access, correction and complaints
To ask what we hold about you, correct it, or make a complaint, email hello@jobloopa.com. We'll reply within 30 days.
If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
